What’s the best way to get from the airport into Copenhagen?

The Metro is fast and easy. It takes just 13 minutes to get to the Kongens Nytorv Station on the M2 line and trains leave every 10 minutes during the day. From Kongens Nytorv, the Admiral Hotel is a 9 minute walk.

Alternatively, taxis are available outside of Terminals 1 and 3. A taxi to the Admiral Hotel will take 20-30 minutes and cost 250-350 DKK ($35-50), depending on the traffic.

What’s the best way to get around within Copenhagen?

Copenhagen is a very walkable city and the Metro is clean and fast. If you’d like to take a taxi, download the TAXA 4 x 35 app. For a better rate, don’t pay through the app––ask the driver to run the meter and pay them directly.

On Friday night the boat will pick us up in front of the Admiral Hotel and drop us off a few minutes away. On Saturday there will be round trip buses between the Admiral Hotel and Sølyst.

What will the weather be like this time of year?

Summers are arguably the best time of year to visit Copenhagen and our wedding weekend will fall on the summer solstice. However, that doesn't mean that it will get hot. Average daytime highs are 66F / 19C and nighttime lows are 52F / 11C.

What kind of shoes will I need to wear?

The Friday event will take place on a cobblestone courtyard and the Saturday ceremony will take place on grass, so we recommend block heels or heel protectors.
